CEMENT CLASSIFIEDS LONG-SLEEVE (XS-3XL)
Designed by Isabel Osgood-Roach (me!) & my spouse Zoe Walsh using classified ads published in our original copy of On Our Backs magazine (given to Zoe in 2012 by an elder lesbian who was clearing clutter!!) from fall 1986. We scanned & rearranged our favorite - most evocative, sexy, and tender - personal ads to make a one-of-a-kind queer tee, sourced from the lesbian archive <3 This issue even included a classified written by trans angel Lou Sullivan to disseminate the transgender support guide he wrote in the same year!
Shirts are individually printed by our Dyke Soccer teammate on high-quality, loose (“unisex”) fitting Los Angeles Apparel 6.5 oz. heavyweight long sleeve shirts. You will love the fit and feel of these vintage-inspired tees!
This long-sleeve version has personal ad classifieds on the front PLUS community/organizing/publications classifieds on the back or on the sleeves - Gay Community News, Mom Guess What newspaper, the Wishing Well, Leather and Lace (“California’s oldest and largest Lesbian S/M organization”), SF Sex Information Volunteer Training, and Outrageous Women journal, and the year - Fall, 1986…it’s amazing!!!!
