Designed by Isabel Osgood-Roach (me!) & my spouse Zoe Walsh using classified ads published in our original copy of On Our Backs magazine (given to Zoe in 2012 by an elder lesbian who was clearing clutter!!) from fall 1986. We scanned & rearranged our favorite - most evocative, sexy, and tender - personal ads to make a one-of-a-kind queer tee, sourced from the lesbian archive <3 This issue even included a classified written by trans angel Lou Sullivan to disseminate the transgender support guide he wrote in the same year!
Shirts are individually screenprinted in community on super soft 100% cotton Los Angeles Apparel baby tees. Baby tee is made of stretchy 100% cotton, these shirts are technically an XL. In my experience they comfortably fits sizes XS-L depending on desired fitted-ness. Full length sleeves and a high neckline - similar cut to the black baby tee except shorter/crop length. Jordan and Jillian are both 5’10-5’11 and usually a size L in tops. I’m 5’2 and usually an XS/S.
