Designed by Isabel Osgood-Roach (me!) & my spouse Zoe Walsh using classified ads published in our original copy of On Our Backs magazine (given to Zoe in 2012 by an elder lesbian who was clearing clutter!!) from fall 1986. We scanned & rearranged our favorite - most evocative, sexy, and tender - personal ads to make a one-of-a-kind queer tee, sourced from the lesbian archive <3 This issue even included a classified written by transmasculine angel Lou Sullivan to disseminate the transgender support guide he wrote in the same year!
Shirts are individually printed by our Dyke Soccer teammate on extremely soft 100% cotton Los Angeles Apparel baby tees. These shirts are considered “one size” and comfortably fit sizes XS-L. They are very stretchy and have a really nice fitted cut to them! A personal fave!
